Poland, Sweden sign submarine deal

Polskie Radio – The Polish and Swedish defence ministers signed a memorandum of understanding in Warsaw on Wednesday for the acquisition of Swedish submarines by Poland under its Orca programme.

Why Poland Is Asking South Korea to Help with Submarine Improvements

Poland Orders New Ratownik Submarine Rescue And Seabed Warfare Vessel

Naval News – On December 27, at the Naval Academy in Gdynia, representatives of the Polish Armament Agency and the industrial consortium signed a contract for the construction and delivery of the rescue ship for the Polish Navy. In terms of displacement, it will be one of the largest ships operating in the Baltic.

There is a keel for the reconnaissance ship Jerzy Różycki

Defense24 – On Thursday, July 27, at the Remontowa Shipbuilding SA shipyard in Gdańsk, the keel was ceremonially laid for the prototype radio-electronic reconnaissance vessel of the project 107 Delfin. The prototype unit with construction number 107/1 will become ORP Jerzy Różycki (261) in the future. Poland strikes deal to buy British Type 31 Frigates

Forces.net – British defence giant, Babcock has struck a £1.4bn deal to supply Poland’s Navy with three frigates based on the Royal Navy’s Type 31 design. The warships will be built in Polish shipyards.

Polish Navy inks $570M deal for minesweepers, rescue vessel

– Defense News – The Polish Ministry of Defence has signed a deal with a consortium formed by the Gdansk-based Remontowa Shipbuilding shipyard and the country’s defense giant PGZ to acquire two minesweeper vessels and one rescue vessel.
