US Navy – Navy leader shows desire to retire the Kennedy

Virginian Pilot – Despite being pressed by lawmakers to hold on to the aging aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy, the Navyís top admiral underscored his desire Thursday to retire the ship and build a future fleet with just 11 flattops.
