Mexican Navy – DEA intelligence aids Mexican marines in drug war

– Washington Post – The U.S. government is turning to elite units of Mexican marines to go after drug cartel bosses in aggressive “capture or kill” missions, providing intelligence and training to bolster what officials say is Mexico’s most trustworthy and nimble force.

Mexican Navy – Mexican navy finds suspected drugs in makeshift submarine

AFP – The Mexican navy has intercepted a home-made submarine with a suspected drug shipment in Pacific waters, 15 kilometers (10 miles) off the coast of Oaxaca state.

Los Angeles Times – Submarine, homemade and cocaine-laden, is seized off Mexico.
