Friday stopover of Russian warships in Algiers

Le Jeune Indépendant – A squadron of warships of the Russian fleet, the frigate “Admiral Grigorovich” and the patrol boat “Dmitry Rogatchev” will make a seven-day stopover at the port of Algiers on Friday, November 12 as part of cooperation between the navies of the two countries. (In French)

What we know about the incident with an Israeli submarine

Three Russian heavy corvettes soon to be delivered to the Algerian navy

Mena Defense – The project will have taken almost ten years to materialize, Algeria will finally receive three Steregutchy Project 20380 corvettes in 2021, two are already under construction in the Severnaya Verf shipyards in St Petersburg, Russia.

A Chinese OPV for the Algerian Navy

– Mena Defense – The delivery of this Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV), which will be larger and better armed than the Type 056 corvettes, will be made in 2022 according to Lloyd’s Register.

Two new submarines of the Algerian Navy make their baptism of fire with missiles of Club-S missiles

– Sputnik – The Algerian navy conducted this Monday, August 26, maneuvering by testing for the first time two new Russian submarines class Kilo version 636, according to a statement from National Defense. Both submersibles fired Club-S missiles on the surface.
